2024 Tokyo E-Prix Circuit Layout
The Formula E Tokyo Grand Prix 2024 will feature a challenging 18-turn, 2.582km street circuit that encircles the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre, also known as Tokyo Big Sight, which is Japan's largest venue.
This circuit is uniquely positioned just minutes from downtown Tokyo, ensuring that the race will be easily accessible and highly visible against the urban backdrop of one of the world's most dynamic cities.
The track layout for the Tokyo E-Prix includes three notable straights and a mix of technical sequences with tight corners, alongside high-speed combinations, providing a diverse and challenging race for the drivers. Set against the scenic Tokyo metropolis, the circuit is designed to test the 22 drivers in the series to their limits, while simultaneously offering maximum excitement and entertainment for fans both on-site and watching from home.
Additionally, the paddock area, where teams and drivers prepare the GEN3 race cars and plan their racing strategies, will be located along the scenic Tokyo Bay waterfront. This proximity to water adds an extra layer of visual appeal to the event, enhancing the overall experience for teams, drivers, and fans alike.

Nissan NISMO recently shared a tweet on their X account that they “wholeheartedly welcome all teams to the Tokyo E-Prix with handcrafted unique kimonos, a garment integral in Japanese identity.”
As reported by Nissan, Nissan Formula E Team has collaborated with Japanese fashion designer Jun Nakamura to create bespoke kimonos inspired by all 11 teams that compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
