You probably saw her in the paddock to support the Thai-British driver for Williams, Alexander Albon — well, Muni ‘Lily’ He is not a new face in the sports industry. Fans of the golf scene might have known her well from playing in the US-based LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association).

Who is Lily Muni He?

Muni ‘Lily’ He was born on 17 June 1999 in Chengdu, China, and moved to Vancouver, Canada, before later settling in San Diego, United States. She started competing at the age of five, and her love for the sport branched from her father’s introduction at a young age. Lily had also attended the University of Southern California for a year before going full-time pro in December 2017.

Lily’s Professional Golfing Career Before going pro, Lily was an amateur golfer. As an amateur, she had also won the 2012 Randy Wise Junior Open, the 2013 PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten, the 2015 Polo Junior Classic, and the 2017 Minnesota Invitational. Lily had four starts on the LPGA tour before reaching the cut at the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open. As she turned professional in December 2017, Lily bagged her first Symetra Tour win in July 2018 at the Prasco Charity Championship. In 2019, she won the eighth round of the LPGA Q-Series to secure her 2020 LPGA Tour membership. Her golfing success and increasing social media presence even brought her endorsement deals with Nike and WeChat! Don’t we all love a supportive girlfriend and a girl boss?

Lily was vocal about first knowing her current boyfriend, Alex Albon, from Netflix’s sports docuseries ‘Drive to Survive.’ She admitted she was the first to follow him on Instagram before Albon later slid into her Instagram direct message – they even bonded over their love for sports and their respective struggles.
